Well, how long has it been?

Too long!
Sorry 'bout the delay in recent postings! I find facebook : www.facebook.com far easier to post things, especially pics, so feel free to sign up and access either PP or my pages! Even Cait has her own page, but Ems' just way too busy!!!!
Since the CTogs visit, we've not been up to much. Just the usual daily activities, so here's a bunch of pics from April 2010 onwards. No real order or reason, just as an excuse for me to catch up with all of you who do check our blog!?!?!

This is Dongra, where we spent a week camping with Linda, Murray and gang (The Dixy Chicks)!
Our pitch is just 10 metres away from the beach! Remember - this is the middle of WINTER!!!
View from the tent!
This is the main hotel in Geraldton (about 70 clicks away from where we were staying)
Noonie, losing her balance, much to the amusement of the others!
Carly n Cait, posing against a local sculpture in Geraldton
Cait, again!
The 'shanty town' we created between the tents, with some tarps.

This was how we ended the last evening, but by 2:00 am, the same view turned to that below
so we came home a day early!

This was last week (July 14th ish) at Cockburn Ice rink - it really was cold in there!
Cait with mates, making it look easy!

So, that's why I have been a bit slack in putting things on here. Not up to much really, and back to work today (Mon 19 July) after the two week break for end of semester 1, so no rest for the wicked???
See ya soon.

Tim Tam Challenge

It'd be rude not to, wouldn't it?

When in Rome...

 And, if that wasn't enough...

Skippy for tea!!!

Swan Valley Rally

Well, it was raining!!!
What a cheek!
So we made the most of it and drove to the Swan Valley to take part in a rally...
...more of a treasure hunt really, but the girls enjoyed the searching and we enjoyed the parts of Perth, other beers cannot reach!
This was once a private residence, but now is owned by the National Trust. Girls had to count the veranda pillars, all the way around
 Trek through some bush

All saints Church - see below?

Freo vs Cats

Noel and I fancied watching a footy match and what better than to see our beloved home grown lads get slaughtered by the National League champions?

But NO...
Freo actually WON!
What an electric atmosphere - and not a spot of trouble!

Araluen Golf Resort

We're really sad today - Mamma and Grandgrad go home!

Good for them, but sad for us, as we've been having the BEST time!

Yesterday, we had a lovely lunch, after a 'short round' around Araluen. Couldn't believe that this is within Perth Standard Time (half hour) away and we never knew about it!!!

Part way round
Photo opportunities at every hole?
The 19th?

13th?
BIG Wabbits!

A day in the City

The Old with the new...
Artistic use of light over the bridge from the Station to Forrest Chase
Say "Ahh...rrrgghhh"
'Sharing' a diet portion

That's gotta hurt!

Kayaking on the Canning River

We were lucky enough for Charlie n Tracey to lend us their kayaks for the week, so we took them to Shelley foreshore for a quick paddle.
A Picnic first!
Right! First to bridge then?

PP and Cait - Noonie was at a party!
Race on!
Then Mamma and Grandad had a go - Go Mamma, GO!
Very impressed!
At the starting line...
See ya!

C.Togs in Araluen Botanic Gardens

Well, thanks to Tracey (again) we made it to Araluen gardens and we can't beleive we haven't been there before!!!
Only 20 mins from home, up in the hills, is a paradise!
Their moto says, "Only 20 minutes from Perth, yet a World away" and they're not wrong!
Just arrived, time for a picnic.

Gorgeous place to spend the afternoon!

More photo opportunities around every corner.

Just beautiful! Oh, Noel is too!

How do they make just steps, look so good?

This is one of the world's largest stone pergolas, apparently!

Time for another?
More wildlife?

Artistic one?
Don't do it!!!!
