Easter Day at Gundaring...

It's 4:36pm and we've spent all day at the house.

We were up 1/2 the night with the 'neighbours' (Don't start singing!) party. The boys had a little too much 'amber nectar' and had a bit of scuff four doors up, so there was much to watch and hear!!!

We had a wonderful day in Freo yesterday - It was Fremantle Festival Weekend, so there were street performers doing their stuff all through capuccino strip (they closed it to traffic for the whole day!)

We saw, amongst others, girls spinning hula hoops and the guy pictured juggled knives whilst standing on a ladder, which was not held up by any one/thing! Amazing! There was also a trapeze artist, complete with mobile trapeze! They were all excellent shows that desrve more than 'street notoriety'!

We eventually today rose at 8.00am and had an unusual Brecky of eggs, bacon, pancakes and honey (we didn't have any maple syrup!) as they have in USA, but it didn't go down too well, so we'll not try that again!

By 9:30, we were in the front garden, weeding the bits that aren't lawn and then were ready for a dip in the pool as it was approaching 27 or 28 C. Loverly!

Lunch was a simple sarnie (damp from eating whilst floating in the pool) but enjoyable and needed as all this 'floating around' is exhausting!!!

We then read the Saturday papers (as we couldn't be arsed to get the Sunday ones!) and did some more pool aerobics (we have to stay fit!) I even found what the nozzle does by the spa jets! - It makes them go all 'bubbly' (Fizzy in fact) so we'll have more fun with that later!

More paper-reading, whilst PP prepared steak casserole for dinner, which we'll be watching with 'the biggest loser' (a 'fit' camp for 'large ozzies') which we have all become addicted to.

I note that we seem to be getting fitter without too much effort here, as we'll be cycling to the park (duck pond) again later with a bit of bread for them again.

Easter Monday 08 tomorrow, so more energetic shenanigans to come no doubt. (I hear its snowing in London, so look forward to seeing some pics to remind us of how it feels to be cold!)
