Last sat'day, Mom n Lor (my sister) came to stay with us for a few days! It's been 14 months since we saw them last and it was SO good to see and hug 'em again!
We've seen n done so much since they arrived, so I've just put a couple of pics here for folks back in Blighty to see...
...more to follow!
This is Caversham Wildlife Park - The wildlife REALLY is wild and you have to watch out for the ones in their natural orange pelt, as they're the REALLY aggressive ones! lol
You can see here, (and caught on camera for the first time ever) that the pink "lesser-spotted Nannas" have developed their own form of transporting themselves around the bush? Ingenious!
Here, the Orange-spotted Lorrangatang has trapped and injured a helpless Roo and is showing two young how to kill it with the back of her hand!!!!
The Pink Nanna has also managed to corner a meal, which we filmed her BBQing later, but the sight was so horrific, we decided not to publish it here!!!
BTW, they have NO idea I've just written this about them, so I'm in BIG trouble when they read it! (jcp)
wow u look like ur havin a sooooo much fun!!! im sure they will 4give u jase! its not every day you get that close to a roo!! i cant wait to hear all about the amazing adventures u have all been havin!! love to everyone, titcher x x
