Slab is down!

Last week, we were delighted to see our concrete floor poured at the new house. They dug footings, laid all the reinforcing mesh, plumbed in drainage etc and poured our 'slab', which is what we call the floor here!
So we're up and running with our own house. More outside drainage and bricks next. I took photos on my phone, which I can upload from work, so will show you more on this post as it progresses. I have to wait till tomorrow(Monday) to get my upload from work...

    Well you have about five weeks to get my room ready for sleeping in LOL. I bet it feels good to have your own home built doesnt it. M&D
