STILL Waiting

Hi again,

As yo can see from the title, we're STILL waiting for our visa!!!

We keep reading the forums every day and watch for other people to see them getting theirs, with reports of Woo Hoo etc. It seems that we're the last on the list!

Still, it could be worse... at least the weather has been kind for a few weeks!

Case Officer news!!!

Yes - we actually have our CO as of last Friday.
Jodie called us to tell us the good news and we just need to send our police checks when they arrive (expected around end of Oct) and that should be all they want - so YIPPEE!!!!
LOTS of celbrations this weekend, so watch the h.over!

A step closer!!!

Good news last week!

We had the call we've been waiting for...to say that our application is being given to a case officer soon! Hooray!

We heard from our friend also going that they can expect a 2 to 10 week period and they'll have theirs! WE think we're about 6 weeks behind them, so fingers crossed!

We've also had a change of agent - Sammy's gone (not sure where!!!) and Jodie is our new agent, so hopefully, a change of agent will mean a change in speed and we'll be in Oz before we aimed for - in November!!!! PLEASE!!!

Its been a while!

Well - it's been a while since the last post, so I thought I'd put something here today...

...We've done all we can do as far as visa's concerned and we're just WAITING!!! now.

We've even done the medicals etc, so all we have to do is book the movers, pack and FLY as soon as we hear that our visas are coming!

I was browsing the 'tinternet' today and found this link to some beautiful 360 views of the surrounding area around Perth WA, so take a look - you might need to download their 'viewer'! I did it's OK!!! (no virus or anything!)

Back from Land down under II

Just a few photos of our time in Oz. Fantastic time there and we're back in UK for a 6-month holiday before we go home to Perth!

This pic is of the girls at Caversham Wildlife Park with a Koala, Number 1 on the wildlife list!

The first pic is of the house we rented in Butler, which was FANTASTIC as it had a pool and 4 bedrooms, with everything we needed!

Mom n Pop Visit

Mom n Pop are here today and as you may have seen, we've been setting them up with a Google account so they can post comments etc.

We've had a loverly meal at the Drum Inn, Cockington and I'm gasping for a beer, but as it's Lent, I'll have to wait till Easter!

Introduction to the Peps

We're the Peps and we live in Brixham, South Devon, UK at the moment, but we're off to Perth, WA, (Western Australia) ASAP
We've been bitten by the Expat Bug and are currently part way through the visa process and hope to live and work in Perth by the end of the year!
